Brutus Grooming came to us with a product the market needed but hadn't seen done right: plant-powered hair and beard color for men — no PPD, no ammonia, no BS. Winners of Men's Health Magazine's 2026 Grooming Award for Best Hair Dye.
The challenge was positioning a grooming product in a space where men historically resist the idea of hair color. Our job was to reframe the conversation — making grey blending feel confident, easy, and completely on-brand for the modern man.
We developed a full content strategy, social media creative suite, OOH billboard campaign, and educational content series that drove awareness and converted skeptics into customers.
One of our most impactful content pillars was addressing a real barrier head-on: why do men stop using hair color? Through research and audience insight, we identified the core objections — harsh chemicals, complicated application, and social stigma.
We turned each objection into a content opportunity, systematically dismantling the barriers and positioning Brutus as the obvious solution for men who want results without the BS.
